Caritas Stavanger:
A Helping Hand for Immigrants & Refugees

Caritas is a Catholic Church international aid and development agency. Caritas Stavanger was founded in 2015 and was run entirely by volunteers until 2016. The organisation is expanding and constantly evolving. In 2018, we partnered with Caritas Norge to establish the "Caritas Stavanger Caritas Ressurssenter".

Caritas Stavanger is located in the heart of the city, and our services are available to everyone, regardless of religious beliefs and political views. We maintain a neutral stance on these matters. At Caritas Stavanger, we welcome everyone who needs our support.

Our "Caritas Resource Centre" provides immigrants and refugees with advice, support, and guidance on a variety of issues. These include work-related challenges, legal rights in Norway, and difficulties with UDI and NAV. Our centre offers free support, and we guarantee the confidentiality of your information through our duty of confidentiality.

At Caritas Stavanger, we don't only offer resources and services but also offer a helping hand, support, and a caring community. We're here to help you thrive in your new life in Norway. Feel free to contact us today for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Building together a thriving future for all.

Let us know if you are interested in joining us as a volunteer.

If you are interested in teaching Norwegian courses, providing information to immigrants, or helping out at the Au Pair Centre, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us! You can also find us on Facebook, Instagram, and Frivillig.no.
