Caritas Stavanger

Caritas is an international humanitarian organization working both domestically and internationally. As one of the world's largest humanitarian aid organizations, Caritas operates in over 165 countries and territories.

In Norway, we have resource centers in Oslo, Drammen, Arendal, Stavanger, Bergen, Sandefjord, Tromsø, and Trondheim.

Caritas Stavanger was founded in 2015 and is expanding and constantly evolving. In 2018, we partnered with Caritas Norge to establish the "Caritas Stavanger Caritas Ressurssenter."

Caritas Stavanger is located in the heart of the city, and our services are available to everyone, regardless of religious beliefs and political views. at Caritas Stavanger, we welcome everyone who needs our support.

Our "Caritas Resource Centre" provides immigrants and refugees with advice, support, and guidance on a variety of issues. These include work-related challenges, legal rights in Norway, and difficulties with UDI and NAV. Our centre offers free support, and we guarantee the confidentiality of your information through our duty of confidentiality.

We offer a variety of local services, including counseling, language training, job assistance, food distribution, physical activities, and programs at asylum centers. You are also welcome to drop by for a friendly chat. Our staff and volunteers are always available and ready to help.
