Learning English A1

"Learning English" is a key program offered by Caritas Stavanger to help immigrants, refugees, and non-native speakers improve their English skills and expand their personal and professional opportunities. These free English classes are open to all, regardless of level, and are taught by passionate volunteers who create a welcoming and inclusive learning space.

Participants will practice speaking, reading, and listening, while gaining the confidence needed to use English in real-life situations—from job interviews and work environments to everyday conversations. Although these are non-official, non-certified courses, they are a great starting point for building language skills that support integration and social inclusion.

All classes are completely free, and made possible thanks to the commitment and kindness of our amazing volunteers. Join us to learn English, meet new people, and take another important step toward a more connected and empowered life in Norway.
