Learning Norwegian

"Learning Norwegian" is one of Caritas Stavanger’s most valued and searched programs. Our free Norwegian language courses are designed to support immigrants, refugees, and expats in their journey to integrate into Norwegian society. Led by dedicated volunteers, these classes offer a friendly and supportive environment where you can practice speaking Norwegian, improve your vocabulary, and build confidence in everyday communication.

Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to strengthen your skills, our flexible, volunteer-run classes help you learn at your own pace while connecting with others in similar situations. Although not official or certified, these free language courses are a valuable tool for those adapting to life in Norway.
