Would you like to practice your Norwegian and contribute to the local community in a meaningful way?

Caritas Stavanger offers a unique opportunity to visit a day workshop at a nursing home once a week, for 2–3 hours during the day.

Here you can meet elderly people who come to visit to chat. They speak different Norwegian dialects and love to tell stories from their lives.

It's a great way to improve your listening and speaking skills in a natural and friendly environment. Not only will you strengthen your language skills, but you will also bring joy to people who greatly appreciate having visitors.

Whether you are learning Norwegian or just want to get involved in social work, this experience is both enriching and rewarding.
