Caritas Stavanger offers guidance and information to all immigrants that are in need of assistance. We offer guidance in Norwegian, English and Spanish for drop in clients. With advanced notice we can can offer guidance in a variety of languages.
Caritas Stavanger is the best place to get help, learn Norwegian and find your way in Norwegian society.
COURSES
We offer Norwegian courses starting at A1 level. For the autumn 2022 we are offering A2 level Wednesdays and Fridays, this course is full. We also offer basic training for newcomers and "Språkkafé"
LABOUR MARKED
Information about your options and your rights in the Norwegian labour market. Advice on how to proceed if you are experiencing difficulties.
EMPLOYMENT
Advice concerning employment. We can not help you get a job, but we are happy to help you with your cover letter, CV or give you tips on where to apply for jobs.
PUBLIC OFFICES
Establishing contact with different agencies and institutions (NAV, Skatteetaten, Stavanger kommune etc.) and/or translating documents received from said institutions.
CARITAS STAVANGER AU PAIR - SENTER
Our au pair center offers support to all au pairs and host families residing in Rogaland. We also offer social activities for the au pairs.
