Caritas: A helping hand for immigrants and refugees
At Caritas Stavanger, our mission is to serve the community in the heart of the city. As a non-profit organisation, we strive to provide services that can help immigrants and refugees and other members of our community.
Immigration is often a challenging process, filled with numerous obstacles and difficulties. Understanding a new culture, language, and the local legalities, can be daunting and overwhelming. This is where the Caritas Resource Centre steps in. We are a team of dedicated employees and volunteers, committed to providing immigrants with the necessary information, guidance, and support they need to successfully navigate through their new lives in Norway.
At Caritas Stavanger, we believe that learning the Norwegian language is the key to success in Norwegian society. That's why we offer a variety of Norwegian language courses for all levels, taught by experienced and enthusiastic language instructors. Our goal is to provide our students with the necessary tools and skills to navigate daily life and fully participate in their communities.
At Caritas Stavanger, we are dedicated to providing support to au pairs and host families residing in Rogaland. Our Au Pair Centre offers a variety of services, including informative meetings for both parties, social activities for au pairs, assistance with legal issues, and conflict resolution between au pairs and host families.
